The Central New Jersey Computer Science Education Hub will carry out a series of Elementary, K-5 NJ Essentials Workshops, with sessions directly aligned to the NJSLS-CS. This Elementary NJ Essentials Workshop will focus on the Networks and the Internet disciplinary concept of the NJSLS-CS. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the Networks and the Internet disciplinary concept, experience an exemplary lesson, become inspired to create their own lesson with a focus on the discipline, and work with other elementary educators throughout Central New Jersey to share resources, ideas, and brainstorm.
