In this special workshop for K-12 Computer Science Administrators, we look at recent updates for the pathway for obtaining a Computer Science teaching endorsement, updates to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards, and key instructional resources and platforms to consider bringing into your schools. We'll outline who is now eligible and required to obtain a CS endorsement starting in September of 2027. We'll look at the proposed revisions for NJSLS 8.1 Computer Science, as well as how this links to revisions for 8.2 and 8.3 as well. Lastly, the session will end…
