Teachers will be learning how to use the Birdbrain Finch Robot. The day will include demos with the Finch and connections on how to apply the Finch to the classroom. This workshop will be aligned to the NJSLS-CS Standard Algorithms and Programming.

Room Location on Campus: Education Room 109
The Central New Jersey Computer Science Education Hub will carry out a series of Secondary, 6-12 NJ Essentials Workshops, with sessions directly aligned to the NJSLS-CS. This Secondary NJ Essentials Workshop will focus on the Algorithms and Programming disciplinary concept of the NJSLS-CS. This workshop is being led by Jason Erdreich, 6-8 Engineering Educator and K-12 STEAM Coordinator of Madison Public Schools. You will receive a Birdbrain Classroom Flock for attending this workshop, along with a stipend of $300 upon completion of the workshop.

Lunch is not provided, however there is a Campus Town at TCNJ's campus with many lunch options, including Panera Bread, Starbucks within TCNJ's Barnes and Noble, Yummy Sushi, and Pastadoro Italian.
